This website combines four decades of software training (Trainerdeb Consulting) and my two passions, cycling and genealogy (ThePedalingGenealogist).
My software training career began with mainframe and standalone word processors in the 1970’s, moving to the first PCs in the early 80’s. My work has included Windows and Mac devices, and the range of software packages I have taught started with DOS and is now Internet and Cloud based. After almost four decades of training in computer labs, I now teach exclusively on Zoom, making it easy to offer classes for people from the comfort of their office or home.
I also love helping people with their genealogy needs, both offering classes and individual coaching. I’m particularly fond of helping people who have taken DNA tests and don’t know what to do with all those cousins!
